Anderson High School ♥ 3:10 PM
Anderson High School is a large school with a lot to offer. Everyone is so diverse here. When you walk down the halls, you can see people with all different kinds of hairstyles, clothes, etc. Everyone is totally unique.
Every Thursday or Friday night, Anderson has sports activities going on. One of the major ones is American football where everyone goes out and supports the Anderson football team. There's also choir, band, orchestra, art, and tons of other things to do. Plus, Anderson has golf, volleyball, baseball, basketball, etc. that they offer the students. The arts are also very important to Anderson and the students. Many students participate in choir, band, orchestra, art, photography, etc. After school, students can attend clubs such as Key Club, JSA (Junior Statesmen of America), Leadership Council, the Little Theatre Company, choir clubs, break dancing club, ballroom dancing club, debate club, and tons of others. There's even a ping pong club!
This week was "Spirit Week" where everyone dresses up to a particular theme every day. On Tuesday, everyone dressed up like it was the 1980's. Then, on Wednesday everyone dressed up in Disney attire. Thursday was Blue and Gold day, which are our school colors, because that was the night of our homecoming football game (we won 42-35!!). Today was nerd day.
Tomorrow is the homecoming dance at a hotel in downtown Austin. There was also a "monster ball" tonight, which is supporting the orchestra program. There are many more events that go on at Anderson nearly every single day, so students are very busy! I'm currently in Jazz Club, Key Club, and I'm in Choir.
Overall, Anderson has many opportunities to meet different types of people, do a lot of things, and go to many events year-round.
